Melodio for all at "GrossMutterSommerKochen"

Imagine a green garden, plenty of different dishes, diverse music, and beautiful weather. That’s what this year’s Baboletní Vaření was like. Fans of the Melodio concept gathered – we combined the experience of music with charity.

Music? Anna Raková, a screenwriter and singer, sang her heartfelt original songs with deep lyrics, including three duets with Shimona. Singer Alice Muller took a completely different approach, rocking the microphone and keys with energy. According to her, Alice Muller is used to having a band behind her, but even as a solo singer on stage, she did a fantastic job! During the day, we all sang “Ia Orana,” a Tahitian song, together with the Lucie Nozizwe choir, Ubuntu. Even though they are from Unhošt, they sing African gospel! Elton “Elly Jay” Lodewyk took care of an excellent dance finale.

And the food? The winners of the cooking competition in the savory and sweet categories received lovely prizes. The Gotthard couple brought excellent German wines. The judges were in a trouble: what to do with homemade ice cream, which had no evaluation because the kids devoured it as soon as it appeared on the table! They gobbled it up and didn’t write any reviews… Why would they? They went to play soccer 😊

And Melodio? Those who were meant to meet, met. Everyone learned about Melodio’s October concert for Libor, so they could invite their acquaintances in time.
