Melodio welcomed autumn with poetry and music

People with disabilities can be inspiring. These words were the main theme of the literary and musical event Melodio Welcomes Autumn. Radek Halas and Eva Sládečková shone brightly in the evening sky.

Blind Radek is an example of a tenacious person whose health limitations do not hinder his creativity. His poems and short stories will soon be published in book form. Eva was born with cerebral palsy, yet at the age of thirty she decided to learn to play the violin.

The literary and musical evening demonstrated that a person’s true strength lies not in physical perfection, but in the determination and motivation to fulfill their dreams.

The next community meeting with the Melodio Foundation will take place on October 19 at the Art-n-Coffee café at the Melodio for a nice coffee. Come have a coffee with us and talk about mental hygiene and workaholism. We will meet again at Velký mlýn on January 6, 2026, at the Melodio Welcomes the New Year event.

We look forward to seeing you there!
