But what you haven’t experienced is the performance of pieces from different periods, from baroque to jazz to pop, with these instruments🎵 Jakub Hřebíček, a young successful soloist, has a knack for making a concert evening an educational and entertaining show without losing any of the professionalism of a master percussionist🥁 This Brandýs native has performed in leading symphony orchestras such as the Czech Philharmonic, PKF – Prague Philharmonia, FOK – Prague Symphony Orchestra, SOČR – Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra, etc. He also has a fantastic drum kit with which he has performed across Europe and at Czech clubs and festivals such as Votvírák, Rock for People. Young graduates and students of HAMU will leave you in no doubt that new stars of the world stages are growing in the Czech Republic.
🌞For the first time you will also hear two popular songs arranged by Marek Cimbal for percussion instruments. The vocals will be sung by Shimona, co-founder of the Melodio Foundation.
🌞The proceeds of the concert will be donated to Radek, a client of the Melodio Foundation. Radek, nicknamed Little Ráďa, has been blind since birth👨🦯With the help of his coach Vojtěch Cibulka, thanks to Melodio, he embarked on a journey of self-development and discovering new possibilities in his life, but what new visions he is developing, Ráďa himself will tell you….
