Melodio for Radek and Kristyna

We are preparing Melodio for two new clients. An evening of film and musical with Zdeněk Barták. Members of the Bez zábradlí Theatre are assisting us with the program, directed and moderated by Josef Hervert, script by Daniel Miňovský. You can look forward to beautiful melodies. You’ve probably heard most of them in your life, but you might not have known that Zdeněk Barták composed them. His music will reveal more about the author’s life to you.

The lineup will truly be star-studded, with the participation of singers and actors: Marian Vojtko, Michaela Nosková, Nikola Ďuricová, Lukáš Randák, Jakub Smolík, Dita Hořínková, Felicita Prokešová, Nikol Kouklová Heřmánková, Petr Macháček, Michaela Tomešová, Karel Heřmánek ml., Radim Linhart, Kateřina Morozová, Shimona, and the composer himself, Zdeněk Barták

The program also includes an audiovisual part. Painter Elizabeth Ida Novotná was inspired by Melodio’s songs and created three impressive paintings. An animator is already working on bringing them to life. Beautiful and touching stories, powerful brushstrokes – all of this awaits you this evening.

The proceeds from the auction of the paintings will be used for coaching and development programs for people with disabilities, whom you will personally meet at the event.

Kristýna

Since I was twelve years old, I have been using a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury. While studying at high school, I dedicated myself to competitive monoskiing and represented the Czech Republic. Later, I also started practicing parasurfing. Currently, I live with my partner in Olomouc, studying psychology and working as a peer mentor for people with spinal cord injuries at the Czech Paraplegic Association. I aim to work with a coach primarily to enhance my development in my professional and academic life.

Radek

As a result of an accident I lost most of my eyesight. Nevertheless, I am trying to become independent because I don‘t want to rely on the assistance of others. I spend several hours a week teaching people with similar disabilities how to work on computers. With the help of a coach I would like to figure out how to manage the challenges of independent living, despite my visual impairment.
