Looking back at the Melodio for Radek concert

When people with good hearts and the same values come together, beautiful things are created. All this, enhanced by the atmosphere of a beautiful place with equally breathtaking acoustics, added another dimension to the fundraising event on 2.10.2024 in Gabriel Loci. The concert for the blind Radek was a unique musical experience.

The marimba and vibraphone that rang out the hall are no ordinary instruments – just as Melodio is no ordinary foundation. It combines a love of music with a desire to help people, which was felt throughout the concert. The pleasant mood and interesting songs completely drew the audience in. We heard acoustic versions of songs and popular songs sung by the founder of the fund, Šimona Mašková, in an angelic voice.

As the end of the concert approached, I looked at my watch and realized that an hour and a half had passed. An hour and a half, during which I stopped perceiving time and was fully present in that special moment. This shows that the event was not only well prepared but also well executed. Events like this are very meaningful – not only for the people they are intended for, but also for everyone who attends. You take away a warm feeling of helping those in need, along with a lot of positive emotions and energy.
